Blightking - Model 1 - Work in progress

This one is coming along fairly nicely. Just need to do the boils on the skin and refine the smallest details, teeth, stitches, etc. Then all that is needed is the base.

Maggoth Lord - W.I.P v1 - Beast body / Basecoat

The maggoth beast skin is well under way with all base, wash and dry brushing done. Only the fine detail to do to finish the skin. The horns are only base coated at the moment and will need a fair bit of work. Overall pretty happy with the results so far.

The Nurgle Lord is only partly base coated at the moment and has a long way to go before completion.

Knights - Model 1 - Under coat

The under coat and base colour for the skin, no much else has been done yet.

Marauder - Model 1 - Under coat

The under coat and base colour for the skin, no much else has been done yet.

Warriors Champion - Conversion

The champion for the warriors unit. I cant find the photo of him as plastic and green stuff but have the under coat and skin base colour pics.

Head - Knights
Body - Blightkings
Cloak - Warriors
Right arm - Warriors
Axe head - Nurgle Lord
Left arm & Shield - Skullcrushers
Shield sigil - Maggoth Lord
Legs - Forsaken

There is green stuff for additional cloth and additional cloak fur to tie everything together

Marauders - Model 1 - Conversion

This my first test piece at converting an Empire figure (in this case a gunner) into a Nurgle Marauder. I replaced the gun with an axe and gave him a knackered shield. I also gave him a mangled foot and a horn bursting through his helmet.

Pieces used:

Body - Empire gunner
Axe hand - Blightkings
Shield - Vampire Counts Mortis Engine
Foot - Plague Drone Rider
Horn - random spiky bit from somewhere

Here is a comparison between the original Empire gunner and the converted Nurgle Marauder.

Knights - Model 1 - Conversion

I thought Id keep the first knight model pretty simple. Just a regular trooper with a relatively simple conversion. Not much green stuff, only really used for the back of the head. The rest was just a matter of aging the horses armour.

Pieces used:

Head, arms, shoulders - Blightkings
Body, legs - Knights
Horse - Knights

Blightkings - Model 1 - Conversion

This is my first Blightking model, which I may use as the Champion depending on how the others come out. It is also my first real attempt at using green stuff to cover the gaps between different model kit pieces. I had fun trying to make the greenstuff skin look all nurglily. I also damaged the hooked swords some more to make them look more used / rusted.

Pieces used:

Head - Plague Beaers
Body - Blightkings
Arms - Dragon Ogres
